The official start day of NFL Free Agency starts today, and yet there were about 1000 players who were already gobbled up, and much to my surprise, the cap poor Dolphins were wheeling and dealing like nobody’s business. I’m not sure I’ll ever understand what the plan is, I was pretty sure we were going to be quiet in FA, and we were out there banging like we had the same amount of cash available as the Jets and Browns. One thing I do know, any thoughts the Dolphins were tearing this thing down and starting a 2-5 year rebuild has been quashed. There’s no question now that we’re in it to win it, but have the moves we’ve made made us better?
We replaced a 25 year old fan favorite WR (Jarvis Landry) with another 25 year old WR (Albert Wilson) who has basically 1/4 of the amount of receptions Landry has. We didn’t want to pay Landry near $16M per year, so we get a good deal on Wilson at $8M per. Hold on, because then we sign 32 year old veteran slot WR Danny Amendola. Huh? He gets a 2 year contract for about $12M, with $8.25M guaranteed. I think this signing pushed the Landry fans over the edge. I get it, we couldn’t spend $15-16M on our own stud, so we replace him with Wilson and Amendola? I can’t get inside information, but obviously Gase was not happy with our WR corps. Forget Landry, I think he’s seriously worried about Parker and Carroo. I think rightfully so, because Parker has yet to give us an elite season. Why did Landry routinely have 100 receptions, and what should be our best WR (Parker) about half that? Then you look at the guy we had to have in the 2016 draft and used 3 picks to get Leonte Carroo, who has given us 10 receptions in 2 seasons. If this doesn’t explain why we now have 2 WR’s instead of one, nothing will. Just so you all understand, i thought maybe we would address this in the draft, but I guess Gase wanted more proven commodities, and I get that. We’ll have to wrap Amendola in the same bubble wrap we used for Pouncey in the preseason.
OK, now onto the big boys, the defensive tackles, because it sure seems like we’re gonna need one with the departure of Ndamukong Suh. Here’s the 5 I think may help us, that is, if we have any money left to spend . . .
Dontari Poe 6’3 346 27YO

How do you replace a big man? With an even bigger man! Poe is huge at 346 lbs, and no, he’s not at the same level of Suh. No one we sign in FA will be, but that’s not the point. Not to insult anyone here, but say we bring in Poe at about $7M per year, he’s going to give us more than a 1/3 of the production of Suh, for a 1/3 of the price. Poe was the 11th pick in the 2012 NFL draft, and played 5 seasons with the Chiefs. He went to ATL last season on a 1YR deal, and is now a free agent. He’s a big DT that clogs the middle, and in his best season in 2014 brought down opposing QB’s 6 times. He;s not a real pass rush threat, more of a run stopper, and that works for me. I think Poe would be ideal, but there’s a lot of other teams out there flush with cash, so we’ll see what happens.
******************************************************************************
Bennie Logan 6’2 309 28YO

I actually had Logan as one of guys I thought we should target last season, and now, like Poe, he’s also available because he only signed a 1 YR deal with the Chiefs. Logan played the first 4 years of his career in Philadelphia, and he’s a guy that makes an awful lot of tackles. Like Poe, he’s not a real pass rush threat, but he’s steady and can wrap up well, which makes him valuable to me. Like Poe, he signed an $8M contract last year, and I expect he would be in the same neighborhood as Poe, and if Spotrac is accurate, they have Poe at $5.7M, which I inflated to $7M, and figure the same for Logan.
********************************************************************************
Clinton McDonald 6’1 290 31YO

McDonald played in 14 games last season , starting 3 for the Tampa Bay Bucs, and managed to tally 5 sacks as part of the DL rotation. At this stage of his career, he wouldn’t be a starter, but what we really need is either a starter, or a solid rotational guy, and I think McDonald would give us the latter. McDonald has played the last 4 years with the Bucs, and in 2016, started 12 games, so he’s capable.
*********************************************************************************
Nick Fairley 6’5 291

Fairley missed the entire 2017 season with a heart condition. He was released by the Saints with an NFI designation due to that condition. Apparently, Fairley feels he’s ready to return to the NFL, and would obviously need to pass a physical in order to be eligible to play. The former 1st RD pick in 2011 (13th overall), Fairley actually had his best season in 2016, logging 6.5 sacks for the Saints. Always a pass rushing threat, he played 4 seasons for Detroit before signing with the Rams, and then the Saints. Obviously, it’s an odd situation with him having the heart issue, but if he’s cleared, he would be a pass rushing threat from the interior we could certainly use.
***********************************************************************************
Tom Johnson 6’3 295 33YO

Johnson has obviously been around, but Johnson played in all 16 games last season for the Vikes starting 15. He was fairly productive notching 32 tackles and 2 sacks. It would be nice to put another stud in the lineup, but a solid guy in the rotation would suffice too. I would think he would be a 1 year contract, and that’s fine, because we have some young guys that are up and coming, Godchaux especially, but Vincent Taylor also flashed, so this is just a stop gap.
*************************************************************************************
Kyle Williams, Chris Baker and Star Lotuleilei all signed contracts already, so this is what’s left. It’s not especially pretty once you get past Poe, but some of these guys are certainly serviceable. We may also dragft a DT early if the draft falls that way, like Da’Ron Payne or Vita Vea. Second RD option for me at least could be Harrison Phillips. If there are any DT’s you feel I should have mentioned, gimme a shout.

Chad Henne looks out in mindless fascination, like a caveman witnessing his first snow

wait, swapping 7ths with SF means we went back from 223 to 227!!!
Gotta go redo my big board now.
You just lost out on al the 7th rd blue chippers.
LOL
I think we do not need to worry about missing Nelson in round 1 (or we were worried about that.)
Back to my question (thnx to D for answering) about what it will take to get Baker Mayfield.
If Gase wants a quick release QB, there he is right?
As long as we can still get Gesicki or Goeddert or Hurst, I’m fine with trading up.
(We should use next yr’s draft to trade up because this yr is deep in TE and RB which we need and next year we will be picking in the high 20s so it’ll be worth less.)
Jake Scott was a 7th rounder, but I’ll take another Donald Driver, Jay Ratliff, Shannon Sharpe, or Marques Colston.
LG Josh Sitton
C Daniel Kilgore
RG Ted Larsen
————-
Only thing I don’t like about this?
Sitton: 31 years old
Kilgore: 30 years old
Larsen: 30 years old
Seems we’re rebuilding our O-Line (once again!) with 30+ year old FAs. BUILD through the Draft, augment via FA.
THAT stated, I still feel (or at least HOPE!!!) that we’re going O-Line early in this Draft. But all-in-all, not too shabby here with our interior O-Line over the next year or two… provided they don’t get injured (one or more of them WILL).
we can still draft Oline!
They just won’t have to start right away!!!!!!!
Lots of OL play well into their 30s. We’re not talking 35 and 36 here.
I’ll get you a beer later MF13
We’re good, Brother! You’ve beaten me to the punch several times as well!
don’t take it MF, its a “Banquet beer”
Just curious – Do any of the naysayers feel like maybe everything is not doom and gloom now?
They are on the Philly blog setting Ajayi’s yards for the year?
OL improved
WR nope
DL tough call without Suh and with all the DEs
I still worry where it’s going
NAY!
How much cap room do we have?
Hah hah – just kidding, that will change by the time you reply
😆
TRUTH!!!
$21.6M, no$15.6M, nope – $12.4MM – I get you man. I think we can still draft, and probably should draft an OL before RD 4, no reason we can’t now.
Just so long as we DON’T miss out on one of the better TE options out there!
No way man, that’s a 2nd RD priority, at least if I have anything to do with it, which sadly I do not
Mike,
I’ll believe Gase has turned the corner when I see it. I don’t care who we bring in here if our team is still undisciplined, the game plans are stiff in the first half, and the play calling is uninspired for 14 games out of the year. (play calling includes using the personnel we have to the best of their ability).
I didn’t see anything about Gase, it was really about the roster.
^ say anything
I know, that’s why I said it doesn’t matter the roster if the coaching stays the same.
I don’t even know what our priority needs are right now?
I’m to confused to do a mock draft! 😉
either a top 4 QB (Mayfield) or a solid back-up in the 4th round
TE TE TE TE in the second
RB in the 3rd or 4th if we use our 3rd to move up in the 1st
FS in the 4th (or rover back LB if you see it that way)
PK
There’s your boy Coates Piggy!
Would that make you feel better?
nobody there I want (is there?)
Nope
I don’t want to add any Free agent WRs at this point
Hey look – Jeremy Cash, was wondering what happened to him. They moved him to LB…that wouldn’t be a bad pickup for us
Maybe just a TC body…but you never know
I thought he would be selected in the 2nd and I think he went undrafted …lol
Pouncy had a lot of ability. Just not the most important ability. Availability.
Durability
Don’t let the door hit you on the way out, Pouncey. My favorite move of the offseason. I never got past the disgusting ‘Free Hernandez’ BS, so good riddance.
I’ll happily welcome Mr. Killgore or Mr. Murderblood or Mr. Slayingcarnage over Mr. ‘Free Hernandez’.
The name does make it amusingly ironic though.
LOL
The team’s plan was to go into the draft with a complete team so they didn’t have to draft a specific position. Just like after we heard the news on Pouncey people started saying now we HAVE to draft a center. That’s not what they want to do. All 3 of the 30 year old OL are on short deals so it’s a good timeline for young players to be ready when their contracts are up. As we’ve seen in recent years, many rookie OL are not ready to play. I still see us adding an OL or two in the draft.
I think that’s rather well stated, Tim… so long as we still address the O-Line relatively early.
Thank you! Not just this year either, over the next couple of years. Keep adding one or two here and there.
Ryan Smith
@PFF_RyanSmith
Josh Sitton is a guard who can do it all, this includes getting out on screen plays and making blocks downfield; I think this opens up a lot for the #Dolphins offense in terms of play-calling #FinsUp
1:35 PM – Mar 15, 2018
AHHHHH F*ck, not more screen plays!! Don’t open up MORE screen plays!!
I like the ones that work. 😉
maybe now we can actually run a screen that doesn’t lose yardage like all of ours have for the last 159 years.

Well, at least four of them anyway. 😉
Nope, after our original 7th rd pick there’s nothing but shit left. LOL
Back to my question (thnx to D for answering) about what it will take to get Baker Mayfield.
A lobotomy?
So with the exception of desperately NEEDING a TE, the draft is pretty open for us. IMO the only real question is are we planning on pushing Tanny or staying pat there.
Yes TE is really the only glaring need. Who knows we might add a vet there too so at least we have some competency.
yep that’s it
(plus we really do need a NFL starting quality RB, as we only have Drake and it is irresponsible to think RBs don’t get at least nicked up.)
Gase wants RB by committee, and ones that can catch and flex out wide.
So get any of the approx 11 in this year’s draft that can do that please.
PS btw anybody seen any interest by us or another team in re signing our own FA RB Williams?
Yeah we still need some depth and especially at RB, I was talking about having to draft a player because of a void.
I have heard nothing about Damien Williams.
NAY I SAY NAY!!!
ahhhhh, my dolphins nay-sayer didn’t post. (it’s a miami dolphins rocking horse)

Interesting stats in there.
Many of us have been discussing this for awhile now.
Well boys it’s gonna be hot with those beards in S. Florida!
It’s nice to see that Dolphins brass has finally realized to have quality OL play, you have to have, at minimum, a combined beard length of 3 feet.
This is just basic fundamentals, Football 101.
Doesn’t it seem like a lot of the stud lineman look like that?
Big Bully Baby Huey didn’t have a beard and he was a good OG.
You guys have to follow the news more….two more OL guys signed.

LOL @ Stanger
from Miami Herald
Wilson was third in forced missed tackles with 15 last season. Landry was second with 17.
But Wilson (42 catches) forced a missed tackle on 36 percent of his catches, compared with 15 percent for Landry.
That stat jumped out at me too.
Maybe Quenton Nelson will fall to #11
I gave up on that awhile ago. Not impossible but not likely.
No beard!
Start a rumor that he does coke.
Kilgore was rated much better as a run blocker — 19th compared with 30th for Pouncey.
Lol @ Baby Huey. I’d bet we could run the friggin ball if he was on the line.
Drake lead the league in forced missed tackles during his streak. We want to be more explosive on offense.
Sitton was the 5th rated guard last year. So James at #17 and Sitton at #10 gives us 2 top 20 OL and I do still believe in Laremy Tunsil becoming excellent.
How did Sitton go from 5th to 10th so fast? Just like the way we changed the OL, in a flash. LOL
He was traded to the Dolphins so predictably his gameplay has suffered already.
LMAO!!!
I heard Quenton Nelson likes to play with dolls. Tell a friend. LOL
Specifically “Ken” dolls
He doesn’t like them in clothes either.
I think at DL we are weaker, or i should say at a deficit of talent than before. We can fill that void with a top pick or a pickup like Poe. I think WR we are going in a totally new direction with how we are going to use them, so its hard to say better or worse since i would expect the whole passing game to be different next year. OL is encouraging, but i cant say i definitely think its better, but i do think i can confidently say its definitely not worse.
If we get that trade i had heard mentioned with Philly for Mychal Kendricks id say we had a very nice FA period and really set ourselves up for the draft to be as flexible as possible.
Poe to the Panthers.
Uh, it’s been pointed out to me several times that Tannehill has had multiple OC’s and head coaches during his time w/the team. Well, he’s on his fourth OC, he’s coming off an ACL and he hasn’t played in over a year. So the team is in great hands.
Seems this FO didn’t agree with some around here who feel we have good players because they are dropping our better to best players like they have herpes. Lol
***
And we aren’t getting jack in return for losing lol this highly paid and, supposedly, highly regarded talent. What a waste.
You can’t always trade every player you want to release. You think the Cards wanted to outright cut Tyrann Mathieu? It’s not just our team, but in any case, the important thing is making the necessary changes, even if it hurts a little

I’m excited to see what Drake can do going into the season as the starter. If he can stay healthy and get some blocking, I think he may end up being special.
2 big ifs.
now all we need is a RB, and a back up QB???
Drake reminds me of reggies bush
Drake is built bigger than Bush.
he gets bounced after contact like Bush
LMAO @Kong (Sitton)
MikeE,
We’ll all have to wait and see how these moves turn out. I like the OL signings. They have definitely improved our OL. But, the rest of the moves haven’t done much for me. We’ll see. I see another 8ish win season.
Sure, that’s all we can do is wait and see how it works out, but I like the approach. No reason to have those huge ridiculous contracts, the better teams in the NFL never do that., unless it’s at QB
At least we are finally doing something with the oline, but yeah, I agree, 8-8 is where I see us too.
Lots of teams dropped good players. Trades are nice when you can get them. It takes 2 to tango
^
Drake does not run downhill
It looks like he’s running downhill there, doesn’t it
ROTFLMFAO
Even the compensation we did get in trades was minimal. 4th rounders? Oh boy.
it seems in the past we just went after the big names like Suh and Wallace, gave them boat loads with no results, something about this year FA’cy has purpose and planning behind the acquisitions and releases. I just hope these old farts can stay off IR
Since the Suh signing, we have not signed any outside FAs to $40M deals.

A hummer in a corvette would be cool.
Pouncey was rated as the 27th best Center last year? Lol

I’d prefer a hummer in a corvette but that’s just me.
lol
My only concern with Drake is health. Can he take the bruising? I fully agree with what Naples mentioned earlier (and I’m sure has been stated by many) that we need a 2nd RB because you need two RBs. I wouldn’t mind if that 2nd RB was a big bruiser. I would like to see an upgrade over Williams.
We’re definitely going to add more RBs. Maybe waiting on Anderson or someone else and/or draft.
So is there a big, bruiser back folks like in this draft?
Chubb, Freeman, Scarbrough to name a few. Guice isn’t big but runs violent like Ajayi.
lol, Chubb? I swear the universe has plans for some of these guys. Is he a FB?
Chubb, Freeman, Scarborough and Ballage
Ballage is too tall for me. But that doesn’t mean the team doesn’t like him.
He’s the same height as Scarborough
You just don’t want his ballage all up in your face I guess
I knew that was a bad analogy

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
if that’s the case then that would be an upgrade over Drake as well, Williams was ahead of Drake on the depth chart when he was healthy
C’mon Rob, if Williams is even back this season, you know he’s behind Drake now
not so sure Williams is more of a power runner on 1st down, Drake will break runs but Williams or someone better will get you the tough yards and by no means am i sold on williams
Lol, key word is ‘was’. That changed after Williams got hurt and Drake got some actual playing time. And if you don’t think Drake clearly elevated his game far above Williams then, lol, well we see things completely different.
Drake played well but he also got stuffed a lot at the LOS putting us in long down and distance, he’s an upright runner, his stature is not suited well to run btwn the tackles JMO, we need a guy that can get 3 or 4 yards on 1st down consistently, a CJ anderson type, powerful low to the ground, That’s not Drake.
Kong replies to Chubb and Mike fires up some Ballage. LMAO!!!!
I’m going to change my last name to fourhundredyarddrive, have another son, and get him a set of golf clubs for his 1st birthday.
LOL
Mike, for some reason I thought Ballage was 6-3.
That’s if you count his dickage
Right now — other than TE have no idea what positions we will pick in our first five picks. Sorta of like it that way. Maybe 2nd RB too, but have the feeling that will be taken care of before the draft starts.

WOW! Mayfield at #27? I don’t think that’s going down
Saw Brooks with Daniel Jeremiah on NFLN and he isn’t a big Mayfield fan. They talked about his stature and how shorter QBs usually fall out of the 1st rd.
He may not be a fan, but it seems like an awful lot of teams are interested in him
Oh I don’t agree with him.
Rob,
Drake got stuffed at the line far less than Ajaiyi did this year as a Fin. Ajayi was ridiculously bad with runs for loss this year, but he weighs 10 more lbs than Drake so it didn’t matter? Drake did just fine between the tackles, excelled at yards after contact, had an extra gear, and made people miss. He doesn’t run as violently as a true power back, and may end up with durability issues due to his height, but this singular focus you have that a back has to be this precise exact mold down to the inch and lb is just wrong IMO, and I think it clouds your judgement. And the fact you can’t see Drake is infinitely better than Williams or are are using this comparison for some other reason proves it IMO.
You are welcome to your opinion, but I don’t want to play broken record with you. Everybody on this blog knows you want a 5’10”, 221 lb back, and that the ONLY way to win IYO is with a back like this. Cheers.
Comparing stats between Ajayi and Drake can be mis leading, Ajayi did get stuffed, because they had to bring Dbs up in the box to stop him which opens up other facets of the game, when Ajayi broke loose in 2016 and gouged the center of the opposing D’s they had to game plan to stop him, that left other areas of the opposing D vulnerable. I don’t think teams look at Drake in the same fashion.
I’m done with this RB thing anyway, I just know what i would do if i were calling the shots, i would make sure i imposed my will up the middle with a stout RB.
and this FAcy/Draft has my attention to see if this FO feels the same way.
I would not have drake pounding the ball up the middle
we shall see
Lets say we get a trade with Philly for Kendricks. If so its only going to cost us a late pick as we are essentially taking cap hit off their hands. So i think maybe one of our 7th’s or maybe another crazy swap of 7ths lol. Then our draft goes down like this.
R1, Baker Mayfield, though i really want it to be Josh Allen.
R2 Tayven Bryan DT UF
R3 Frank Ragnow OC/OG Arkansas
R4a Dallas Goedert TE NDSU
R4b Bo Scarborough RB Alabama
R4c Shaqueem Griffen S/LB UCF
R6 Riley Ferguson QB Memphis
R7 Toby Weathersby OT LSU
I don’t think either Bryan or Goedert will fall that far,
and I’d rather have a niftier back than Big Scar.
But I agree with your concepts.
waste of round 1 & 2 picks
Sorry about my misquote. He was the 5th best at something but 10th overall:
10. JOSH SITTON, G, CHICAGO BEARS – 86.6 OVERALL GRADE
PFF Elite Stat: Sitton has allowed just 10 QB pressures on 335 snaps in pass protection.
There is no better pass blocking guard in the game than Josh Sitton, and despite battling injuries along with the rest of the Chicago offensive line, he has once again been excellent in that area when on the field, but has been better than he has in the past as a run blocker, paving the way for Jordan Howard on the ground. Sitton has surrendered 10 total pressures in 12 games and had some dominant run blocking performances.

Dude is really good catching passes out of the backfeild too. I think he AVERAGED 16 yards per reception in college if I remember right.
I guess my Baker Mayfield rumors have caught on. Let’s send him to the second round.
Anything but the patriots
This would be a shocker to me if it happens. Suh has always been all about the money, and it seems he would have to take a lot less to go there. Of vcourse now that he has lined his pocket with Dolphins gold, maybe he’ll have the inclination to take less.
I think Suh is into investing and doesn’t live a lavish lifestyle. He might want a chance to win and the Saints were much improved last year. They could be back in the hunt again in 2018.
Somehow I read this as the Patriots instead of the Saints. Nvmd, nothing to see here.

Drake played well but he also got stuffed a lot at the LOS putting us in long down and distance
Your boy (and used to be mine) Ajayi lost or got no yards on HALF of his carries. Look it up.
I still think that was the biggest reason Gase wanted to jettison Ajayi. He went off script too much, and kept putting us in poor down and distance and it pissed Gase off.

You mean in the THREE games when he broke loose?
Ajayi only broke 80 yards in a game 4 times in 2016. in 11 games he couldn’t get over 80 yards and averaged 3.55 yards per carry. I loved Ajayi, but he was not consistent and certainly not consistently great!
Ajayi rushed for 1270 yards with a 4.9 avg, those are the stats, I get it, he’s no longer here so you want to paint this picture, I bet your painting would be different if he was here and lead us again to the playoffs.
I could care less about Ajayi, i just want Miami to win.

D – Everyone can come and go here, so to quote another movie out of context, “As you wish.”
Busy day but kind of like what we did today. Still think losing Landry has set us further back than these moves moved us forward but at least we are addressing the OL
Im hoping whatever changes they have planned for the offense now make up for the deficit in talent but we definitely are at a deficit there.
I don’t think Gase is going to substantially change the offense. He is running the same system he has always run
Zach Brown re-signing with the Redskins.
If the rumors are true about Kendricks, id much rather have him than Brown
I have not heard these rumors you speak of.
IMO Scarborough is probably one of the best backs for what we want from a power back with versatility. His top scores in the Broad Jump and Vert show he had very good burst acceleration and power metrics. Lots to work with there and he is a pretty good blocking back with decent receiving ability. He doesn’t have the break away ability of Drake but he can slam it home when we need him to.
You guys slay me! Please NO ONE leave on my account. I am an admitted, unrepentant dickhead. deal with it or not. But don’t go because of me. That goes for everyone. Even Lou(ser)

Good answer, actually! Props!
RIP
I’m late to the party on the theme…but can’t help myself. 🙂

Aw shucks. I was hoping for a Henne reunion party.
😆
I still have tremendous appreciation for what Henne did for us during his time as a Dolphin. He was the impetus behind what was and still is IMO the funniest thing ever written on these boards with Bat’s ‘Caveman looking at snow for the first time’ line.
I believe it was Henne looking at snow for the first time with mindless amazement. LMAO!!!
LOL, I can still see the picture of Henne, staring up with mouth agape. Too funny. 🙂
Don’t ever question whether he is happy

Am I a dick or Rock? I mean, I own being a dick, but I was harassing Rock.
D – Everyone can come and go here, so to quote another movie out of context, “As you wish.”
—————————————
Oh i was just messing around anyways lol. MikeE is the dick here, you should have seen how he treated me tuesday….
Pouncey, who had three years remaining on his contract, told Joe Schad of the Palm Beach Post he requested his release because his request for a raise in a long-term deal wasn’t granted.
“I gave this city everything I had,” Pouncey told Schad. “I’m heartbroken.”
Pouncey added that he plans on continuing his playing career after seven seasons with the team that drafted him in the first round in 2011.
“At the end of the day I’m a Miami Dolphin for life. I think it was awesome,” he said. “I had a hell of a ride here. We’ll see what the next chapter is.”
Cutting Pouncey saves the Dolphins $7 million on the salary cap.
Seems if his contract was such a deal they would have traded him rather than cut him.
Dolphins legend Cameron Wake has requested his release and Miami is expected to grant it today, per source.

Not that wanted it, but was sorta of expecting it (Quinn and today Hayes) . In an odd way that he was looking for longer term contract was part of that.
D is making stuff up, Stanger. SMH
Yeah sorry i was being silly lol. I used the same clip from the Pouncey twitter release, i thought it would give away the joke but yet also scare people a little bit before they caught it
Cool enough D, but when what you put out is realistic…..you get the idea.

LOL, I like how you managed to get the word APE in there with “agape”! 😀
LOL, it’s all about the subliminal advertising, man!
Dolphins legend Dan Marino has requested his release and Miami is expected to grant it today, per source.

Whew….had me there.
Dick
Lol
Lol
Too soon?
What the fuck is going on?!
I’m requesting my release!
Denied
You are stuck with the Dolphins
Pouncey wanted a raise…..that’s rich.
Nah, he didn’t want a raise. They wanted to restructure his contract.
Pouncey says he wanted a raise.
Why are we releasing these guy and not trying to trade. Now Wake! WTF is going on!
D is requesting his release too.
Lou was already granted his today.
LOL
Dammit, D!
D is just being a d!ckhead. Pay no attention to him.
That’s not funny D.
Agreed.
Well i laughed so it was a joke to at least one person lol

Yeah man i mean it could but Wake imo should be one of the safest people on this team right now. He is a beast of a human being, pure freak, and one of the most charismatic players we have on the team, pure leader, id keep him on my team until he barely could stand up when they snapped the ball.
Also i think there is little to no way Wake ever requests his own release. He would go out kicking and screaming.
Lol, so I usually skim posts, and often miss things. I saw everyone responding with shock at D, and all I saw was the Dan Marino post. I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how that got everyone going. It took me like five minutes to figure out (by finally seeing the other post).
Lol yeah i did the Dan post to expose the other since the other more subtle key didnt expose it and i didnt want to be a complete shit.
The good thing about Wake is he can play longer than most guys because half the time an OT has him lifted off the ground in a bear hug anyway so it’s like a rest period.
I bet its warm and inviting in the winter time.
CORRECT (in my “IT” voice!). MR. Wake is going to be DANGEROUS as an exclusive pass-rusher.
D, you suck I almost spit beer on my screen you fuck!!! LOL
I was shooting for full spittle carnage so ….epic fail.
LOL, bastard!
Maybe the thing with Pouncey is they had already worked the deal for Kilgore and they were letting Pouncey save face by doing the “you cant fire me. I quit!” routine.
It’s not you Pouncey, it’s me
JUST a few random thoughts:
YOUNG STANGER; SAW your comments on “I love the smell of napalm in the morning.” I KNOW you meant nothing negative about it. I’m SURE of that b/c you’re a man of honor & respect. But to those of us who worked on American napalm and agent orange victims, it remains a sore spot to us even tho’ it’s been 45 years since I worked on them. The horror can not be described. Nor can it be forgotten. There’s NEVER a day when I don’t think about them. The American history books my kids, grand kids, and great grand kids had in school uniformly IGNORE the price so manyyoung Americans made from the early ’60’s through the mid-70’s. But Pop-Pop tells them. “DON”T let it happen to YOUR KIDS” I tell them. They all listen very carefully. Some of them even have told their classmates and teachers, who are equally clueless. We, as a nation, have forgotten way too much of our history.—
We shouldn’t.
^^^
I’m right there with ya, Mr. Campbell!
Appreciate that OD but
It’s a movie quote from apocalypse now
The character who says it has the same name as the center we just signed – Kilgore
YES, I’ve seen the movie twice. Robert Duvall was the actor.
Lol D
Tim is usually the one I watch for the “tweets” ….
Good job
If we release Dan Marino I’m never going to watch another game
That’s a jersey I actually have!
Nooooooo!!
Ken, from earlier – I think Gase will run the same concepts he believes in, but will take a different approach with what to call, when and with who.
