A Proposed Watson Trade To Spoil Your Life

King Go ScrewYourself

Gather around Dolfans, this Piggy has a fairy tale for you. This one is about a wise old expert who called himself King

A man dressed as a King stands up in downtown Miami

“Dolfans everywhere gather around. I am King Go ScrewYourself. As King I also declare myself an NFL Expert capable of reminding the Miami Dolphins how much I hate them. “

A crowd of Dolphins fans gather around the King.

One screams “Arghhhh! We missed the playoffs!”

A second angry fans screams “No more losing!”

A third raises a torch “Stop the losing”

The King tries to calm them down. “I know my subjects, and as many of you know Tua Tagovailoa did not pass for 5,000 yards.”

The fans all raise their fists angrily. One yells “ how dare he!” A second screams “One year is enough!”

The King continues to speak “This is not the time to sit and wait to see what develops. This is the time for action! We must move on from the Tua era of the last”. The King checks his notes “The Tua era of the last few months”

The crowds roars in agreement.

The King continues “A Quarterback is available. His name is Deshaun Watson. And we can have him for cheap.”

The first fan speaks up “Give up a first round pick”

The King replies “We shall! We shall give up two!”

The second fan yells “two is not so bad…”

The King replies “…..this year” the King continues “and our first round picks in 2022….and 2023”

The first fan declares “Watson is worth it. He passed for 4800 yards last year!”

The King interrupts “Which is why we must add more! We will add all the second rounders too”

The second fan declares “We don’t need second rounders…go for it…”

The King adds “ For the next 20 years…and the third rounders too!”

The first fan pauses a moment and then says “Well….its been a while since Dan Marino retired”

The King interrupts “ yes…so very long have you suffered. Let’s add some players….”

The first fan insists “how about that guy who hurt Preston Williams”

The King excitedly replies “Wilkins is outta here!”

“And what about that other guy Howard” The Second fans yells “ he was arrested!”

The King adds “he shot a puppy….and ate it….I read that”

”Get rid of him!” The fans scream. “That should be enough to get Watson”

The King says “It’s a start!” There is more though….

The first fan says “As long as it fills the stadium”.

The King replies “about that stadium….um…we have to let the Texans use it from time to time….”

The second fan asks “okay, no problem, how often?”

The King replies “just Sundays”

The first fan speaks up “Done!”

The second fans turns to him “This is going to be great, I’m going to bring my kids to see Watson throw for touchdown after touchdown”

The King interrupts “oh….about those kids…”

The fans turn to the King “what about them?”

The King explains “so take a look at this map…if your kids are born in zones A1 through A3…then those kids will have to go to Texas”

The first fan yells “What?”

The King explains “How else will maintain the lawns of Houston….that’s part of the deal….but only Zone A. Zones B and C are responsible for washing the cars in Houston, Zone D cleans their homes”.

The second fan explains “Well, it is Watson….and we still have our wives”

The King replies “Yes you still have your wives and girlfriends….on every other Tuesday anyway. Pretty good deal right?”

This first fan says “well we do get Watson”

The King explains “and the details of the trade will be delivered through the rectum”

The fans begins to walk away depressed.

The King tries to stop them “Where are you going, I didn’t get to the part about your mothers”

The King completes the deal. By 2023 Watson opts out of his contract

Rob – Tell me, why do you think the Dolphins, Brian Flores included in this, decided to draft Tua? Give me your best idea as to why that happened?
    ___________________________________________________–

well i would have no clue as to what the FO was thinking when they decided to use #5 on Tua, and for the most part i had no clue if it was the right call at the time, i will say i had my doubts at the time of drafting him, i also had doubts about Herbert as well, i wanted to trade back.

why is everyone ignoring the fuck’n elephant in the room?

there’s a reason why Tua can’t get the ball down field to his Rec’s, and watching that prompted me to find the reason why? when he had no choice but to go deep against Buffalo he threw multiple picks.

the thing i got from watching Tua as opposed to other QBs that are throwing from the pocket under avg duress is that Tua’s release is way low, lower than any i had seen.

he’s throwing from the pocket amongst tree’s sidearm, it doesn’t appear that he can throw an overhand throw so he gets stuck and that’s why he can’t release the ball.

he doesn’t have the room to do so, so he tries to get clear of the traffic to release his side arm throw and that’s when he gets dumped by the D rush.

at least that’s what i came up with trying to evaluate this elephant.

  2. stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

Least seems that Miami is a popular choice among star QBs unhappy with their current team.
    ————————————————
Russell Wilson’s frustration with the Seattle Seahawks has “escalated to the point that his camp has broached potential trade destinations with the Seahawks,.” The Jets are among the teams that have been brought up by Wilson’s camp. Other teams include the Miami Dolphins, Las Vegas Raiders, and New Orleans Saints.

Watson and Wilson likely stay put, but…

I’m liking Darnold more and more for the jets, with all of these QBs floating around.

  7. Randy's avatar Randy says:

As an NFL QB you need to be able to throw from all kinds of different platforms and arm angles. Unless you’re Tom Brady and your OL never gets called for holding, QBs don’t have the time to just stand in the pocket and make a classic high, overhand release. It simply doesn’t happen most of the time. Look at Mahomes, people think he’s great. He certainly doesn’t throw the ball very often with a classic delivery.
    ***
And the height thing: Fran Tarkenton, 6’…40K+ yards, HOF; Drew Brees, 80K+ yards, future HOF; Russell Wilson, 5’11”, 30K+ yards. Kyler Murray, 5’10” and in 2 years has thrown for almost 8K yards and 50 TDs. Yeah, ya gotta be 6’5” to be able to play in the NFL. This conversation is pointless….and now I feel dumber for having participated in it.

    • The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

There’s only one way to judge QBs

By the weird gestures they make with their nonthrowing hand

    • ocalarob's avatar ocalarob says:

it not so much how tall the QB is, Tarkenton had a great release, so does Drew Brees, you are comparing their size vs their throwing motion, you can be 6′ and still get the ball off with a high release point, however if your release point is at shoulder level and very wide due to lack of arm strength you will have trouble.

I agree your assessment is pretty dumb.

Texans have a tough situation – but I don’t want to trade for Watson

I don’t want to give up close to their price
    ————–
Agreed. I was initially intrigued when Watson demanded a trade, but I’ve since soured. We’ve got much ammo to get things back on track for a Super Bowl run.

And I believe a full offseason, TC, and weight training will help Tua big time… not to mention he’ll be that much further removed from his major hip surgery.

  12. steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

Detroit didn’t have to trade Stafford, so his value was high.

If Houston really believes Watson won’t play for them, that could lower the asking price, depending on demand

  13. mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

    ORob,

I honestly share your dismay of Tua this past season… especially when comparing him to Herbert and Burrow. We see eye-to-eye on the results and film of last year.

However, I think he’s going to get a lot of the hiccups fixed during this offseason. Like I said above to Pig, I believe a full offseason (COVID killed a full offseason last year), TC, and weight training will help Tua big time… not to mention he’ll be that much further removed from his major hip surgery. And I forgot to add film study above. He and the staff will be forced to address everything you’ve cited, in the film room.

I think you bring a lot of knowledge to the table, and I also think Tua will get his issues fixed as everything you’ve cited will be addressed. Tua’s smart, resilient, a top-notch competitor, and a workaholic. JMO, my Brother!

  14. Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

I feel like Tua is just working as hard as he can. You can see the muscle mass he put on already in the offseason, and that’s all you can ask. If he fails, it will not be due to lack of effort. I think an upgrade at talent at WR and RB will be a huge shot in the arm for Tua. Also you compare Tua to a longtime veteran like Fitzpatrick who played with all of these guys the previous season and was so much quicker to assimilate what he was seeing with the defense. I think Tua will be a better QB next season, I can’t wait to see it.

  15. stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

Why you guys picking on ORob? He has his own view on the QB situation, and many of the details good ones. What debates are about. Don’t think Tua has gotten his HOF invite yet.

    • Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

Geez, we differ in opinion. Is that picking on him? QB’s throw the football with all different kinds of deliveries. I think saying that his delivery is poor and he won’t succeed because of that is way premature. I think saying he won’t succeed for any reason right now is premature. Why people want to go to the drawing board and start again when there are so many similar situations around the NFL where QB’s didn’t have a good first season, and holy fuck, this was not the optimal situation for Tua in any way, he was coming off a major injury, no training camp, no preseason, nothing. Hopefully this year he will be more in tune with his body and his teammates and start with a training camp and a couple of preseason games and he will be on track to have a much better 2nd season. Josh Allen who’s now killing it in our division in his 3rd season after playing worse than Tua his first season. Oh, and no coincidence that happened after acquiring better talent at the WR position. Can we give OUR QB the same courtesy?

      • ocalarob's avatar ocalarob says:

some things you can’t fix, one of them is arm strength, and i believe that’s the root of his issues, he has to adjust his throwing motion to make up for the lack of arm strength.

      • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

Was mostly joking Mike, but did seem ORob was getting frustrated.

  20. Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

Rob, do you know Tom Brady has worked his entire career strengthening his arm? He’s worked on his core strength and his arm strength and they even mentioned it in the playoffs that he may be throwing harder now than he was years ago. I don’t believe that what you’re saying is accurate. Besides, seeing the field better, assimilating what you see better all make a better QB

    • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

Maybe so, but he threw the same way at Bama, so…he is what he is

      • Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

Just a little reading comprehension test. If Brady is throwing harder now than he was during the rest of his entire career . . .

        A) Tua is what he was at Alabama

        B) Tua will always be what he was in Miami last season

        C) Tua is working really hard at getting stronger and that may help improve his throwing power

        D) Tom Brady is using illegal substances such as steroids or HGH

  25. for the fair weather fans that gave up on TUa after a game or two, lol

dont apply for a job in the NFL< they wont hire You with that shortsightedness

he came off a major injury and will need more than his rookie season to properly evaluate, we dont want to rush him off to NE< and watch Bellicheat win a super bowl with him

  26. Brady gets phantom PI calls on his receivers, and not much holding called on the OL either.

a good part of his success has come from cheating, personally, and league wide

not every QB will get this advantage, just the lucky preferred guy,

so when comparing other QB to brady, we cant forget that Brady gets separate rules for him that make him look FAR better than he ever was

globalization increases the returns to capital in rich countries like the U.S. and decreases the returns to labor in those same countries. That’s a fancy way of saying that low-skill jobs in the U.S. can disappear as a result of globalization (though technology plays a big role in this change, too). The result may be a decrease in the inequality between countries but an increase in the inequality within countries.

Wait what? Globalization increases inequality in the US?

These QB trade scenarios are some of the dumbest things I’ve ever seen and I hope these QBs aren’t really doing it. Any QB that has the Saints as his final destination, doesn’t know shit about the salary cap. Any QB who puts the Jets as a good destination, isn’t very smart. Putting out the teams you’d be willing to play for sounds like a kid telling you what they want for Christmas.

Back to the Dolphins, I also think Tua has a very good second season and would love to see Chase as our first step towards getting him better tools.

    • Krishna's avatar Krishna says:

Agree, except I think Tua needs better run support (RBs), OL help, and an upgrade to the WR unit. This year will be telling for Tua. Let’s see what happens.

Not to get political because I think it’s more of a GLOBAL issue.

If you can’t compete in technology, intelligence, socially, environmentally, on a grand energy level that is futuristic, and among a myriad of global fronts, you relegate yourself to the back of the line, imo.

An isolationist position is petty and shortsighted, imo.

Back to football, the ultimate team sport. It’s kinda like globalism. In order to win the SB, everyone on the team has to come together, imo. In football, that’s just what it is, globalism as a microcosm.

I agree with that, and the concept of globalization, but the point I was making was politicians use things like this, at the surface, to bring people in, then behind the scenes what you don’t see is their real corrupt plan.

Globalization, like BLM, like global warming are all just fronts for these people to suck us in, so they can become rich and powerful and we can feel good about ourselves for taking their lead and being better people and humanitarians.

A typical response is how can you be against BLM, when black people have been oppressed? Are you a racist? What these responders don’t get is what’s behind these fronts.

  35. bailbondmike's avatar bailbondmike says:

Remember Hassan Reddick in the 2017 draft? He was one of the best edge rushers in that draft. Then you heard nothing about him for his first 3 years in the league. His #’s were pedestrian.

I think we should try to sign him in F/A. Why?

Everyone is saying we need to draft more pass rush. Because of his first 3 years with lackluster stats, I don’t think he would break the bank.

Still, why would I want us to sign someone like him?

First, he is only 26 and has never missed a game in his first 4 seasons. The main reason is he is a very good edge rusher. The problem was not him it was the AZ coaching staff. They drafted an edge rusher #13 overall in 2017 and decided to play him as an off ball ILB his first 3 seasons. After Vance Joseph’s first season as AZ’s DC in 2019, he saw where Reddick was best suited and moved him in 2020 to his natural position as an OLB/Edge defender and boom!

In 2020, Reddick had 12.5 sacks, 6 FF and 4 PD’s. Of course, 5 of those sacks came in one game against the Giants.

You can still make out the artifacts of this bygone era in the form of two dilapidated poles struggling as a bulwark against time and the elements in the end of yard of my mother’s mother. The once noble and sturdy lines of worked metal ore that connected the two, now no more.

Some of the elders who inhabit nearby lodgings say that on bright, blustery days, if you listen carefully, you can still hear the ghostly wailing of the line on the wind, twisted and calling dolefully for the halcyon days of yore.

Actually, they had them a month or two before the combine and then adjusted them after the combine. The pro days will be the closest thing to the combine and they will start in March I guess. Usually Zierlein does the player ratings, maybe he’s not with the NFL anymore

  43. bailbondmike's avatar bailbondmike says:

M13, you make a good point on it being a contract year for Reddick and that always has some impact. In this case, I feel his production last year had more to do with switching back to his natural position at OLB/Edge.

AZ turned down his 10 mil 5th year option so I think he could be had for several mil less than that. However, there are teams at the top of the cap space who could outbid us like Jags, Jets, or Pats.

Man, I miss the days when the Jets were always in cap hell. I guess their Tannenbaum stench has wore off.

  44. mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

I just can’t make up my mind on the top-3 WRs of this Draft. All three have something very special about them. It’s almost a ‘can’t lose’ situation, whomever we may get.

It may come down to our preference of a boundary WR vs a slot WR, a speed demon vs a possession WR, durability vs upside, route-running vs homerun ability, blocking ability vs lack thereof, special teams ability vs not, etc, etc.

And even with what I just said above, all three WRs check multiple boxes… yet, it feels like this class of upper-echelon WRs is subpar (at least in size) to other Drafts… maybe it’s just me.

I can’t call it! I’d be happy with any of these three WRs.

Waddle just might be the Swiss army knife we need, able to replace SEVERAL of our slot WRs and become our new KR/PR. What’s more, he can stretch the field on the boundary with his 4.3 speed.

Chase is the consensus #1 WR, and he may become a GREAT boundary WR, which we need opposite DeVante. The guy is remarkable.

Devonta Smith is just a stud, through-and-through. He’d be the chain-mover.

But then you got Kadarius Toney, Terrace Marshall, and Rondale Moore. Another I like who is not talked about much is UNC’s Dyami Brown.

    • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

But if all 3 are fine seems trade down is good, or actually smart.

      • mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

And THAT’S what I’m talking about, Stanger. Trade down just bit, get draft compensation, and land the best of the 3 WRs available. Wouldn’t be surprised if all 3 were still on the board @ R1P5 (Bengals), or even @ R1P6 (Eagles).

Trade down a bit further (within the top-10) and most assuredly there will be one or two of them still available.

      • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

You guys know more about the players, but just seems common sense. If 3 WR are top 10 worthy you don’t take a WR at #3 unless there is no trade down for you. Unless one really stands out as THE generational guy…… but seems from all the talk that is not the case.

  51. stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

I am of the opinion – and it’s a firm one – that the Watson paired with this Dolphins defense – assuming Pro Bowl cornerback Xavien Howard isn’t part of the package sent to Houston, and he very well might be – could turn Miami into a perennial playoff team for the next two to three seasons.

After giving up 7 goals in their previous game, the Bruins have yielded 4 more tonight after 2 periods to the home-standing Rangers, who are being urged on by the 1,000 or so fans allowed to attend. “Let’s Go Rangers” echoed through Madison Square Garden in the final minute of the second period as New York scored TWO GOALS IN 12 SECONDS!!!! And this was shortly after Boston Bad Boy Brad Marchand had taken yet another idiotic penalty!! Marchand cheap-shotted a Rangers player who promptly got up and SMILED at him as he was escorted to the penalty box.
    —————-
I’m expecting some BIG TIME BRAWLS in the 3rd period, especially if the Rangers continue to rub Boston’s nose into the ice. May Brad Marchand have an unfortunate collision with the Zamboni!!

Lebron is such a maroon, he reminds me of David.

“[LeBron] is phenomenal at what he’s doing, but I don’t like when people have some kind of status, they go and do politics at the same time,” Ibrahimovic said. “Do what you’re good at. Do the category you do. I play football because I’m the best at playing football.

So Zlatan says Lebron shouldn’t do politics, and his response is:

“I still know what I do on the floor, and obviously, I give everything to the game,” James told The Associated Press in December. “But I can make a greater impact off the floor right now, more than I can on the floor. And I want to continue to inspire people with the way I play the game of basketball. But there’s so many more things that I can do off the floor to help cultivate people, inspire people, bring people together, empower them.”

Lebron, what you’re doing off the court is great and you should be praised for that work, but Zlatan is saying politics isn’t your thing, and it would benefit you to not get involved in something you don’t know enough about.

Richard Neer on WFAN just made a pretty good point on trading for Watson. With all the draft capital and players that it will take to to pry Deshaun Watson from the Texans, that team will resemble the Texans. It may be a little oversimplified but he’s not wrong. You’re going to have to give up great players and draft capital and by the time you’ve trimmed your roster, and surrendered all your draft capital, so great, you have your QB, but you don’t have the same talent level around that QB, and that will take time, if you even get there because now your cap is shot to shit too.

Soooooo, as I said from the start, DON’T DO IT!!!

    • The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

It will dip back to the old price when the demand for crude oil increases again

The demand will go back when the world adjusts to life after COVID shutdowns

      • New Age's avatar New Age says:

So, you are saying that policies that are anti-oil don’t affect prices at all? OPEC did it’s highest production cut IN HISTORY….in APRIL not September. Did nothing to prices. It’s dishonest to say Biden’s policies which hurt oil jobs in the US aren’t also affecting prices in any way. OPEC only controls 60% of world output.

The lack of demand is what caused prices to lower as there was a glut of oil on the market and little demand. The demand is still down. The only true difference is who is in the Oval Office and the energy policies they advocate.

      • The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

Yes I am suggesting that. The biggest factor in gas prices in the price of crude oil. Nothing comes close to having that effect.

60% of the product has a huge affect on the market. What do you think would happen to the price of bottled water if 60%of the manufacturers stopped producing bottled water – The price would go up.

Besides, the basic economic principle of supply and demand Probably means all producers are around the world are doing it’s not just opec – it’s a response to less use During COVID shutdowns. Everyone is doing it. American companies too – they just can’t coordinate and announce it or it would be illegal.

You want to make an argument using generalizations bc it fits the narrative but the reality is if you research the leading cause of gas prices. You can’t deny that the price of crude oil is the largest factor and that a coordinated effort by the largest producer of oil on the planet to lower production to increase the price has been in place since September 2020

Those are facts that go from A to B to C to D

But you are jumping from A to D and are concluding that bc gas prices are escalating now it must be bc the Biden presidency caused it.

Go for it – connect the dots. You’ll see it’s an illogical argument you are making

I don’t even k ow what you mean by policies. But give it. Try and connect those dots. I’m all ears

      • New Age's avatar New Age says:

You didn’t read my argument. They had larger cuts in April that didn’t do this. You act like the market is this huge behemoth that takes months and months to react and it doesn’t. In 1973, the market prices exploded due to the Yom Kippur War. Prices skyrocketed after Iraq invaded Kuwait and after we invaded Iraq. It didn’t take 9-10 months to see it. That’s a fallacy. Disruption are felt within a week or two.

You act like OPEC is the only reason the market moves. We are the largest supplier in the world. Things we do adjust the market as well. When Biden signals that American and Canadian oil is going to be reduced with his actions against Keystone, it’s pretty obvious that will affect the market. That’s the #1 supplier and the #4 supplier in the world and that isn’t going to affect prices? C’mon! Seriously!?? You know this is true so why even argue against it?

Not only that but they will be named as 3rd parties in all those suits and so can any person posting on those platforms (even a retweet)

    • The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

I’m out talking about this site or sites like this. I’m talking about everyone using Twitter, Facebook or any of those forums

You expose users of those megaliths to the same liability as Twitter or Facebook by removing 230 protections

      It’s always been bad idea

230 does not exist solely protect Twitter or Facebook, it’s protects all its users too

If you remove it you open the floodgates to defamation suits against Twitter or Facebook
Then the person who actually said the comment or even retweeted is joined to the suit
Then Twitter or Facebook argues that the culpable party is that user
And then the 50 millions dollar lawsuit that was against Twitter becomes the problem of the guy who retweeted something on Twitter

    • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

Trump’s demand was “Section 230 should be revoked by Congress.” And now it is the stance of many of his followers. And, ludicrous or not, that includes the protections for this site. Just how the law would work after.

Said above that I see the problem, but what is your “easily amend” to Section 230? Just don’t see it. We’re talking about platforms being sued for what their users post with a click. You want them all to come with pre-post moderation?

New age I didn’t miss your argument

The reason opec haulted production was to have this effect. They openly admit to it.

Your are in plausible deny about it. COVID crushed the oil industry. People stop traveling for starters. OPECs production hault is one of many similar actions that caused the price of crude oil to go up. Whether it’s opec in an American company they have the same concern, there isn’t the demand there used to be bc of COVID and even when American companies try to increase production they don’t have the same impact as OPEC.

It is not uncommon for the oil rich countries of the world to manipulate the market

And this article sheds some light on the difference between OPEC, Russian and our own domestic producers – in one sentence, OPEC operates like a cartel, which is why it’s hard for us companies to combat their actions even when we increase production.

    • The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

It also worth mentioning, that getting away from oil dependency also causes opec to act out. They were in the middle of a price war with Russia when COVID happened

    • The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

And FYI the phase of the keystone pipeline that was stopped by biden hasn’t been in construction since 2015 so it’s sort of unlikely that it caused gas prices to increase in 2021…

In NJ you can be taken into custody on the spot whether you fail a breathalyzer or not – this attorney explains why that happens

        https://www.billboard.com/articles/business/legal-and-management/9525465/bruce-springsteen-dwi-arrest-explanation

In this case the police officer/ park ranger who observed him drinking believed he was inebriated. Springsteen refused the breathalyzer leading to be taken into custody. The .02 reading is the breathalyzer from the station not one that was done on the spot.

Springsteen was fined $540. That’s clearly not a dui guilty finding – that’s bc he plead guilty to consuming alcohol in the park (it was a park)

It’s not white privilege or liberal privledge whatever that is. It just simply wasn’t a DUI.

      His own report said that

And yeah, it’s not hard to beleive it wasn’t justified to pull him over – you just said “fuck him” based on something he said. That’s probably exactly what the park ranger thought too.

There is no way .06 of alcohol leaves the body during a drive to a station. That’s ridiculous to believe.

There’s a record of him being acquitted from dui. The park ranger was already proven wrong. It’s not ambiguous or undecided.

You just don’t like him bc of what he said. Is it so hard to beleive the park ranger thought the same thing?

I was just agreeing with Mike that Springsteen does not deserve to be a citizen and should just leave the country, I could give a shit about his DUI.

Biology is physically factual, Psychology is theoretical speculation. If I identity myself as being a 6-4 320 lb. football lineman, does it make it a factual truth? Nope! Because I’m none of those things. But if I feel that I am, therefore I am. Yeah okay. By the way I wish I was a dolphin but I’m not that either. LOL

Piggy – are you saying that Springsteen was profiled? Imagine that? I thought cops only profiled black guys

Born in the USA should be “canceled”, he uses the term “yellow man”….. nope, it doesn’t matter the context, it MUST be eliminated because it could be offensive to someone

That’s a great example. And Native Americans referred to white people as pale face. I guess we all need to go to hell. LOL

Another thing is what does native mean? What is the time period that makes you native? There was a period in time where no humans were native to North America. They were nomads from Asia who settled in North America.

Can we all stop and realize that all humans, “all of us” are a part of evolution? At every point in time of our existence.

Thought the Boss was a treasured icon in New Jersey, but I guess not. Learn something new every day. In any event, his BAC wasn’t enough for a DWI unless the cops put the fix in….. but maybe I’m right least some cops/rangers would do that for Springsteen in NJ and I’m right after all.

    Piggy,

    1. From your own articles, Covid destroyed demand ands lowered prices. Covid is still here and demand hasn’t increased yet.
    2. Production cuts hurt OPEC so they can’t do it for long. It’s the primary revenue system for all these countries. Yet, they still did two major production cuts in April 2020 and Sept 2020. We didn’t see any price changes during that time, did we? Not really
    3. Rising US production lowers our prices and helps offset OPEC pricing schemes. As your article shows, 2021 production is expected to go down. We also subsidize the shale industry by a large amount and Trump pushed that, Biden won’t. Energy independence is always better than the other option.
    4. Prices were much lower in 2018, 2017,2016. There was no Covid, no production glut, no production cut, nada. What’s the deal with those prices being lower? Your own article says crude was at $40 in October, 43 in November and should rise to $51 in 2021. It’s $62 today. That’s far above expected rate and a HUGE increase since…you guessed it, the election.

Here’s an article for you on why the stock market is betting on $100 oil under Biden. It’s from one of the sites you linked. Read closely about OPEC no longer considers US shale a threat and Delaware basin closes fracking. Tell me again about government not affecting oil prices.

You got any articles about the projects that took the place of Keystone XL? I just wanted to see those jobs I was hearing about.

Sorry to interrupt the regularly scheduled political rants (LOL), but I saw this and just HAD to share. Y’all have seen the plays already, but Gesicki truly is something special…

Take this for whatever it may be worth. I don’t know who this Jason McIntyre is (never heard of him), but he posted this earlier…
