  1. that game reflect horribly on alot of people. but its the responsibility of the coach to get the team ready to compete

this loss was on FLores, and Flores needs to prepare the team for games, or clean out his office

a HC that cant prepare his team, and cant compete against division opponents is eventually fired

  2. pheloniusphish's avatar pheloniusphish says:

Two games in. We won’t know what this team is until about game 5.

  3. year 3 of the Dolphins rebuild results in 35-0?
if this is a rebuild, what were the Dolphins losing games before, 70-0?

this isnt a rebuild, its a time waste, the Fins are soft, and are getting manhandled

its getting harder to ignore the lack of success of Griers first round picks, and the lack of preparation from Flores,

they should be well on their ways to the hot seats . SMH

  4. the coaches brought in Brissett to be the backup QB in a RPO offense.

they started Albert Wilson in the game, when he hadnt played in years. Fuller was brought in, but who the hell knows whats going on with him

Jackson, Kindley, Hunt, Deiter should be unemployed
whoever thought the OL was ok, and we just needed some targets for Tua, totally blew it

this could be the , the chickens coming home to roost for FLores and Grier

there is no quality rebuilding going on, the fans and team got cheated out of a real rebuild

  5. ocalarob's avatar ocalarob says:

these guy on our OL are very young, the only true veteran is davis and i’m not sure if he played? didn’t he get injured.
growing pains, did anyone here jump on a bike never learning how to ride one?

  6. Orob, i hear You, but everything has changed since the illusion has worn off

this team competed last week, it was harder to see it then

but after a 35-0 blowout for the home opener, its very easy to see that the rebuild has gone offtrack

  7. ocalarob's avatar ocalarob says:

i think the next 3 games are going to be very tough, it may seem we are headed for disaster.
but we knew the first 5 games were going to be tough, I had us at best 1-4, we’ve already achieved that with 2 games played, if we go 2-3 in that stretch that’s a win because we hit a very easy schedule after that.

  8. ocalarob's avatar ocalarob says:

not to mention, the QB has to help the OL by being more decisive. that will factor and send an incorrect message as to how the OL is perceived. i had seen Brissett hold the ball for a very long time trying to make a play.

    • agreed, he did hold the ball too long sometimes, the receivers didnt get as open as they should have

part of that is the co offensive coordinators doing a poor job , and part of it was WIlson started, even though he had not played in years

bad coaching decisions on players, plays, and bad execution, equals a big home opener disaster

  9. Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

It was an ugly game, but it was one game. We competed with the Patriots and stole a game from them in their house. We got thrashed yesterday, but if Parker catches the pass in the endzone, which he usually does, there’s 7. Grant doesn’t fumble at the 5 yard line, maybe there’s either 3 or 7 there. We didn’t play well on offense and the O-line looked like shit. It’s up to the coaches to figure out a way to get these guys going, and that usually starts with running the ball. Get these guys playing physical in the run game and the rest will follow. I think we can do that.

  10. Derek Carr has been on fire for the 2-0 raiders

against the ravens defense, he had 435 yards
against the steelers defense, he had 382 yards

he must be salivating at the prospect of facing a Miami defense,,,, SMH

  11. sb7mvp's avatar sb7mvp says:

I didn’t watch the game because I knew the outcome wouldn’t be good and I’m glad I didn’t. Time was much better spent doing other things. It’s still early in the season, but for 2 games we haven’t looked good. However, we’ve seen this team come back from worse starts in the last 2 years.
Seeing the score made me remember when the Bills opened against the Pats in 2003 and killed them 31-0. The Pats started 2-2 that season, but went on to win the Super Bowl with a 14-2 record. I’m not expecting a rebound of that magnitude, but a rebound to get into the playoffs would be nice. This regime has shown it can make necessary corrections over the season and improve. It’s time to make it count this this year.

    Mike E,

I don’t think we’re overreacting. It was the first home game and third straight stinker. All the problems from last year manifested and our biggest hope is our coaches can get their heads out of their asses before it’s too late. The team looked terrible and uncompetitive. I think the complaints have been mild for the garbage I saw put out.

  16. Wyoming85's avatar wyoming85 says:

  17. Rhino's avatar Rhino says:

at NE, vs Buff is the same schedule as last year when we were 0-2 vs 1-1 now. Yes, it was ugly yesterday but Buffalo is also a much better ‘team’ then when we played them game 2 last year. We have not kept pace.

Sometimes games snowball out of control. We dropped the ball (literally) in every scenario possible, killing drives, giving Buff great field position, on and on.

We started 1-4 last year, then 9-2 the remainder. The year before that 0-7, then 8-5 remainder.

Flores finds a way to get better as the season progresses.

  18. Rhino's avatar Rhino says:

Raiders aren’t really running the ball. It’s been mostly through the air. At least THAT plays into our Defense’s strength.

  19. Rhino's avatar Rhino says:

    26 – 24 🐬 over LVR.

We won’t be passing up FGs this time. Sanders gets 4 FGs 😉

  20. bailbondmike's avatar bailbondmike says:

Rhino, too early for the optimism. Should have waited until like Wednesday. It’s almost like playing some loud death metal music the morning after drinking a 5th of tequila. LOL

Joking, we (I) actually need a little more optimism to get over the MMH.

    • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

Back in the 70s teams used to play scared against the Staubach Cowboys at the end of games

One game in particular had the Falcons leading, with the ball and just a couple of minutes left, they should’ve easily won that game, but fear prevailed, they turned it over and Dallas won

When Flores went for the 4th and 2 on the second drive, I was thinking he’s so afraid of the Buffalo O, that he’s going to make an irrational decision, and if we don’t get the first down we’ll be in a hole we can’t get out of

We had opportunities to hang with them, but schat the bed everytime, with the Waddle fumble being the final straw

Think it was just not our day, no Fuller, Tua out, Brisket did what he could, but just not our day

Carolina barely beats the jets, then crushes the Saints, after the Saints crushed GB, should the Saints feel like they need a rebuild too?

It’s 1 game, forget about it, until it becomes a bigger problem

Now line those fuckers up in the Oklahoma drill…

  21. pheloniusphish's avatar pheloniusphish says:

Turrible yesterday. Someone brought a bunch of Bills fans to the box. They were nice enough and one of the wives was hot, but still.

Only the 2nd game. Ugly, but talk to me about the state of the team after game four.

    • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

Was all about whether I was a liberal. Just cause you go against the current GOP regime does not make you that. And yeah when that’s where you’ve landed you end up with some of the same bashes against that same GOP regime as the liberals. You do get we’re talking Trumpism I trust.

      • pheloniusphish's avatar pheloniusphish says:

Ima mostly JBB. But you gotta admit This White House is an unmitigated disaster. And embarrassing.

      • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

I wouldn’t go so far as “unmitigated disaster” but then wouldn’t have gone that far with the Trump administration, and I sure don’t like Trump.

      • pheloniusphish's avatar pheloniusphish says:

Bordering on hyperinflation, NATO allies recalling ambassadors, southern border is overrun, capricious repeal of the Constitution thru EO – if that’s not unmitigated disaster in your book your version must be apocalyptic.

      • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

Might have agreed was a disaster, but you through in “unmitigated.” Can’t think of an administration would deem that in my lifetime….. and that includes Nixon and Carter.

      • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

So do you agree it’s a disaster?

      • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

Wouldn’t be the word I would use, but they’ve taken a lot of hits the last month or two why not say yes. Have no dog in the Biden administration. More interested in how his legislative proposals, and rooting against most of them. Would have been so much easier for me if the the GOP retained the Senate.

  24. stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

For those going to Fest. They completely changed up the parking with all the tennis courts and such being built. Used to be cash parking across the street, but that is no more. Yellow parking passes only.

If you don’t have a pass have to go to some very remote parking. Had to walk close to a mile to get to the stadium. But should mention it is free now.

If you are driving to the Fest game best move would be get an orange pass (available stubhub etc). That will let you park right next too or at at least close to the tailgate. Or could get a yellow pass which will let you park across from the stadium grounds and be cheaper.

  25. New Age's avatar New Age says:

    Stanger,

I have been interested in your political leanings in the past. I’m a Trumpist and wonder how much we agree on. I had many liberal/libertarian views until Obama so maybe not much. I still abhor compassionate conservatism, don’t like illegal immigration, and hate the bureaucracy. In fact, I probably hate your version of the GOP but maybe not lol.

I know the political talk is always a landline but the Dolphins really crapped on giving us good conversations this week.

    • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

What I respect about your comment is that you readily recognize that there are key differences btwn the GOP we grew up with and Trumpism. To me Trumpism is at its core national populism. To me, again, with a loose cannon in the lead of it. And actually don’t think he holds strong beliefs, think he fell into that step by step based on what got the most applause at rallies.

I’m a Reagan Republican. So you might not like, but not hard to figure out what am about.

      • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

Trump ran on getting rid of the corruption in DC, thus draining the swamp

Those that are corrupt in DC, Biden, Pelosi, Maxine, Feinstein, McConnell…fought hard to gaslight against him

Sure, Trump did/said things people didn’t like, but his bottomline was genuine, unlike Biden and many others in DC, they’re there for power and greed

      • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

And draining the swamp is what a populist would be campaigning on. So matches up.

      • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

What did Trump do that was so bad?

      • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

He cheated on his wife. I consider that bad. Never forgave Clinton for that either. He bragged on the Access Hollywood tape about how hard he tried to hit on a married woman. Consider that even worse.

      • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

        True or not Lol

So you’re OK with the corrupt, sex predator, child molester, murderer Biden over Trump, because you say he cheated on his wife? Lol

      • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

You really don’t think Trump has cheated on his wife? He admitted paying off the porn star. Do you think he did that cause he liked her?

The Access Hollywood stuff is there for you to hear in his own voice.

        Are facts difficult for you?

      • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

And here is the Access Hollywood audio in case you missed.

      • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

That’s what you took out of what I wrote?

Could care less, if he cheated, has nothing to do with running the country

On the other hand biden in a video brags about quid pro quo in the Ukraine, proving he’s corrupt, but you don’t think he is, and you’re asking me if facts are difficult for me?

      • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

And you didn’t answer the question

      • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

So then what did you mean by “True or not Lol”? Seems your latest response was the way to go if cool with it. He cheated on Ivana too. Am sure you’ve heard of Marla Maples.

And if you don’t care about cheating then you don’t. You asked what Trump did that was bad and I think cheating is bad. You are welcome to your opinion on it.

      • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

So your question was “So you’re OK with the corrupt, sex predator, child molester, murderer Biden”? No I’m not OK with any of those but once again left wondering how you know so many things that others do not. Am I supposed to just take what you say is true?

      • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

Typical answer a question with a question response

I’ll make it simple for you what did Trump do that was worse than what Biden did in Afghanistan?

        Or at the southern border?

      • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

Answer is am not on top on the exact situation to make such fine distinction as to either Afghanistan or the border. But do note you changed the subject. As well as hoping you get I’m not huge Biden fan.

      • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

Trump didn’t admit to cheating, maybe he was married at the time, but that time wasn’t stated

What biden does with those girls on stage and with the wives at Christmas parties is way worse, but all these politicians and rich people cheat, beside maybe Mike Pence, if you want to take the moral side you should want the swamp cleaned

      • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

Trump didn’t admit to cheating, maybe he was married at the time, but that time wasn’t stated

      • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

If you are gonna try to claim that Trump never cheated on a wife you are gonna have to come up with a conspiracy theory. He was touting Marla Maples around NYC while still married to Ivana. In Ivana’s book what happened.

Well established he paid off the Playboy playmate and porn star long after he was married to Melania. He tried to hide the payments but then when turned out might be a campaign violation Trump insisted he made them. Both of them in detail have told about their relationships with him. You really trying to claim nothing happened? You are like the little engine that could on this.

      • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

You’re like the little engine of insignificance

Maybe if I put it in all caps you’ll read it I DON’T GIVE A FUCK IF TRUMP CHEATED

Would you still vote for Biden today knowing everything he’s fucked up in such a short time?

      • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

If you don’t care at all if Trump cheated why do you keep trying to say he didn’t, or at least question if he did. Given how you feel it’s a bit strange.

And yeah wouldn’t vote for Trump given what has happened. Cause he cheated. Show’s a lack of morals. You clearly don’t agree but where I stand.

      • New Age's avatar New Age says:

I loved Reagan and agree Trump enjoys the attention. The only decision I truly disliked from Reagan was the amnesty. I think it directly led to a forever blue California and has affected our economy negatively for decades.

I wish there was a Reagan out there today but Trump is the closest to me. No one in Washington today wants to reduce the government like Reagan did. They love wars and mandates. They want global initiatives as America is doing poorly. They care more for themselves than their constituents. I think we should focus on the massive problems at home instead of wasting money abroad. I truly believe Reagan would not identify with the Republican Party of today…or in 2012. Guys like Romney, Bush, and McConnell are cancer to the GOP. They are puppets of big business and China.

      • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

        Never said Trump didn’t cheat

You put a video out to prove he did, just said your video doesn’t prove he did like you suggest

True or not meant, don’t care if he did

Lol not on top of the Afghanistan or border situations, like that naive response

He should be held accountable and charged with the murder of those Americans in Afghanistan, not first degree though

    • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

Keep in mind that Reagan was about the “shining city on the hill” and an aggressive foreign policy that brought the Berlin Wall down, as well as winning the Cold War.

      • New Age's avatar New Age says:

He was but I also find that idea was flawed or at least doesn’t fit current America. Look at Reagan’s California. It has the highest poverty rate in the nation. It’s got the widest margin between wealth and poverty in America. His idea of a ‘shining city on the hill’ is now a ‘gated fortress for the wealthy’ in his own home state.

He beat Russia…and we can’t even beat goatherders who enjoy sexual contact with their goats. The America Reagan wanted was destroyed by the bureaucracy he hated after he died. It didn’t even take that long. To get back to his America, we need someone to stand up to Washington. It’s not Trump but the anger he’s pushed needs flamed and pushed. Washington needs to be brought to heel.

    • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

What I said was “He bragged on the Access Hollywood tape about how hard he tried to hit on a married woman.” And then put out audio of where he did exactly that. What else can I do for you steve?

The cheating stuff is a different subject but one have also explained in depth.

What do get is you don’t care if people cheat on their spouses. I do. Maybe it is the difference.

Last year was 10 wins. Nice…but nothing all that great…and against an easy schedule. It’s only a 62.5 winning %. I thought the team showed improvement last year and showed a high compete level, and I like how Flores runs his team. I don’t agree with everything he’s done or calls he’s made, but overall I think he’ll be a good coach in a couple years. I think the last thing HCs learn how to manage is the games themselves. He’s still learning too.
    ***
I thought we’d be a fringe playoff team again this year. The schedule is tougher, and we are still a pretty young, developing squad. Frankly..with this young OL…I thought another 10 win season would be an accomplishment. I’m still just not at the point where I’m worrying a lot about wins. I want to see continued growth and development. Wins will come with those things. It’s kind of a bummer that we really haven’t seen much growth in the team this year yet…but it’s still very early. This is where you find out who your leaders are and what players are competitors. This season will help shape this roster. It’s 2 games against 2 pretty tough division opponents. Some good. Some bad. 1-1 isn’t what you hope for, but that’s divisional football. Work harder and get better.

A fringe playoff team is still what we are. Nothing really changed on Sunday other than we lost to Bills by more than expected. But then we got crushed by them last game last season. What’s changed? Went 10-6 last year.

  50. mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

So with Tua essentially being day-to-day (man, hurt ribs are difficult to work around, and I’d expect him to be out a couple of weeks), we have NO running game to lean upon.

Part of that is our lack of a functional O-Line, and part of that is we don’t have a RB who can put the team on his back.

So basically, Brissett is the one who needs to shoulder the entire load, behind a weak-ass pass-protecting O-Line. Great.

    • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

Doesn’t matter if you have an elite RB when you can’t block like we did. Henry in week one did nothing because of the same problem. Then in week two he goes off because they did a better job up front. It all starts up front.

As for Tua, Flores said it’s about pain tolerance and if his mechanics are good enough and not laboring. I won’t be surprised if he starts this week. He has no structural damage.

  51. mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

    Stanger,

I think what hurts most of all is that we were told (via the media) that our 2021 roster was built to stop Josh Allen and the rising Bills. If the media was correct about that, we measured up very poorly to the new kids on the AFC East block, at home during the 1:00 PM start in September.

    • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

If the media was saying that then I never believed it. Walked into the stadium expecting a loss by more than the spread. Unfortunately I was right. They just have our number. And flip side is don’t think other teams do.

  52. Randy's avatar Randy says:

    stanger,
Correct, nothing really changed for me after the loss. But, I did think we would see more improvement from the offense and the OL specifically. The OL looking fairly poor is a little surprising. We’ve seen regression there so far. But, like I said, it’s still way too early to get worried about anything.

    • mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

Regarding our O-Line, we continue to move people around, not allowing 5 to gel. This is problematic.

      • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

Not really. It’s pretty set with Eichenberg as the 6th man if someone can’t go at tackle. What is problematic is the starting 5 played poorly yesterday.

    • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

OL is the big worry, but then it was coming in. Might have been different if they had a good camp.

      • mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

YES, our O-Line IS the BIG WORRY. We should have been able to identify the best 5 back in camp, though. That’s how chemistry is built.

  53. Randy's avatar Randy says:

    M13,
I never understand that whole: “build to stop Josh Allen” stuff. I seriously hope this FO would never make significant personnel decisions based on any one opponent. That just makes no sense to me. You build the defense you want to build based on how you want to play. If you’re good, you’ll be able to matchup with anybody. You beat him with good, sound defense. Flores’ defense is built to stop anybody.

    • mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

I concur with you, totally, on the whole “build to stop Josh Allen”.

However, IF Flores’ Defense is built to stop anybody, what happened yesterday?

    • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

We actually did a good job against Allen. The problem was the offense couldn’t compete in the trenches.

      • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

Hard to say we did a good job against any part of their offense after that game. Allen just sorta moved the chains….. and there is a value to that.

      • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

We stopped them a few times as well but couldn’t do anything with it. That eventually wears on a team. The Bills were not worried about our offense all day. They attacked our front all day with success. We had very little time to go vertical.

    • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

It’s not just about Allen, it’s about Mahomes and Jackson etc. Teams do build their defenses to stop specific players on teams they need to beat to win the big prize. That’s been going on forever. Back in the day teams were always looking for the MLB to stop the great backs.

  55. Randy's avatar Randy says:

    M13,
I’m not so sure they haven’t been trying to start the same 5 guys on the OL. Jackson simply didn’t get in the practice reps to play game 1, so they plugged Eich in. Jackson comes back in game 2, and the other guys were the same. Davis gets hurt/sucked and they brought in Eich to replace him and the other guys stayed the same.
    ***
It’s possible they may have wanted to get Eich some snaps in both games anyway. I didn’t see a lot of substitutes on the interior of the OL. So, in 2 games, it’s been fairly stable. My stream died on me, so I missed most of the fourth quarter on Sunday, but I didn’t see a lot of subbing. I’d guess they would love to go with Jackson, Kindley, Deiter, Hunt, and bringing Eich along slowly with Davis filling in where/if needed. They’ve been close.

    • mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

With the exception of Deiter, EVERYBODY sucked on our O-Line yesterday. The Guards are to be scrutinized as much as the Tackles.

It was the worst-graded O-Line performance by any team in any game since PFF started.

  56. Randy's avatar Randy says:

    M13,
Lol. Ya got me there! I just meant it appears that Flores wants a fluid, adaptable defense that can be implemented in whatever way he may need to stop anybody. But, it certainly didn’t work yesterday…although I think the defense played fairly well. Our offense just isn’t there yet.

Correct! We’ve been cross-training nearly all of our O-Linemen to be able to play every position… you aren’t wrong! Nothing wrong with that, until we aren’t having 5 gel in their given positions. But NO, most teams do NOT do what we do, either.

If it takes our young O-Line 4-5 games to really put it together, it may cost us 4-5 games… and EVERY GAME COUNTS. Almost got young Tua killed yesterday, SMH.

  68. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

Here’s another thing to think about. The top 7 OL we’re rolling with are very young and there is no longevity of them playing together. That’s why I said yesterday maybe we went too young too fast. We’ll see how it plays out during the season.

It’s encouraging to see you hopeful for our OL. You may not know, but my question is why did we get and keep so many fragile WRs in a year we are playing Frankenstein with the OL? We paid 10 mill for Fuller and no QB will have time to find him. We kept Albert Wilson and he’s never done shit. He couldn’t be of similar worth to Flowers or a decent backup OL. We are hoping for 10 wins and the OL to gel in time for next year…and an entirely different crop of WRs.

I just don’t know how Tua will learn how to QB very well running for his life the first 8-9 games. Maybe he turns into Wilson but Russell was a lot better earlier so I have my doubts. Looks more likely he’ll learn the same lessons as Wentz.

Also, what’s with the defense giving up a huge run within the first 2 plays of the game again? They just don’t seem prepared.
I will say that defensive coverage was better Sunday than it was in the Patriots game. Even if the pass was completed the WR was immediately tackled or there was a guy to contest the pass.
We need to focus on running the ball. We see running as an afterthought in the offense and it was abandoned well before the game got out of hand. Offense continually put the defense in bad positions, and we always seemed to be just there, but never enough. I can’t imagine how frustrating that must have been to watch live.

I remember the LSU game where he was thrown in because Brantley was down, Driskell was down and though we had a decent OL it wasn’t good enough for that pass rush. Brissett came apart. He did it at NC State too. We might as well run wildcat the whole time if the pass rush is that bad.

Going back and looking at the #’s, despite the score, our defense played good enough to beat the Bills any given Sunday.

It was all on the offense not being able to execute and our HC making 3 bad decisions on 4th down. Those 4th down calls took 3 points off the board and the other 2 gave them very good field position. Three points don’t mean much when you give up 35 but that was in first half where it would have been 14-3. Should have been more than 3 points if not for the turnovers.

If you told me Allen’s #’s were going to be 17 of 33 (51.5 comp %) for 179 with 2 TD’s and 1 INT before the game, I would have said, “Hell Yeah”. If you told me Allen would rush 5 times for 35 yards and no TD’s I would say, “I’ll take it”. If you take away Singleton’s 46 yard TD run, he only averaged 3 yards a carry and Zack Moss only 3.3 yards a carry. I would take these Defensive #’s every time we play them. Bills barely had over 300 total yards of offense (314).

The OL failed us, our skill players failed us and our HC failed us.

    • New Age's avatar New Age says:

I agree. The defense almost always delivers at least a workable win. 314 yards doesn’t normally score 28 points much less 35. They had three drives that needed less than 55 yards to score 7. They gave us two TOs. Their offense was poor most if the game. We were given lots of chances to be in this game and our offense and coaching decisions were terrible.

    • D's avatar D says:

IMO when you lose that bad it’s got to be considered on all parts of the team. That was a pathetic game. Fails all over, doesn’t really matter if one part failed harder than the other there wasn’t much success on defense either. They just didn’t completely shit the bed.

According to team sources, Solomon Kindley — who started the first two games at left guard — is expected to go to the bench against Las Vegas and rookie second-round pick Liam Eichenberg is expected to be inserted as a starter Sunday, barring another change of heart by the staff during practices this week.

Austin Jackson is expected to keep his job at left tackle for now, but he knows he must improve. Internally, he graded out as Miami’s second-worst lineman against Buffalo, per sources.

Per Pro Football Focus, Jackson permitted nine quarterback pressures and at least one of Buffalo’s six sacks and has been one of the NFL’s lowest-graded tackles since the start of his rookie season in 2020.

Dolphins coaches and officials, this week, privately and briefly discussed the wisdom of two global issues: moving Robert Hunt back from right guard to right tackle and possibly shifting Jackson from left tackle to guard. The sources said both remain on the table as long-term options, but the Dolphins are not expected to execute either of those moves now.
